A huge, cloudlike mass is fast approaching Earth and the Brave Police rush into space to repel it. The mass shrinks amidst a hail of bullets. While the team fires another round, the mass emits an intense light...
Six months have passed since that event. Deckerd lay unconscious as Yuuta, Mr. Toudou, and Mr. Saejima watch over him. Deckerd finally wakes up only remembering that they destroyed that giant mass. Mr. Toudou explains that the light from that mass paralyzed their systems and left them in a comatose state. Deckerd joins the rest in the Decker Room.
Mr. Saejima tells the team how the Brave Police project has progressed by leaps and bounds such that A.I. robots are now deployed at the local government level and also adopted worldwide. The Commissioner thanks them, for without them, all this would have not been possible. Yuuta and Mr. Saejima go on to say that they are now free to do as they please. The team couldn't believe what they just heard and try to confirm, while Deckerd stood there speechless.
Back at the garage, Yuuta asks Deckerd about his plans, but leaves him to think about it carefully.
The next day, Deckerd wonders why Ayako and Seia were in the Decker Room. Ayako was asking Dumpson to become her manager, while Seia follows up the Defense Forces' offer for McCrane. Drill Boy dashes in, unable to contain his excitement about an invitation for him to join the Brazilian robot soccer league. Not to be left out, even Shadowmaru has news. He'll be starring in a movie, and Power Joe promptly asks for an autograph. On the other hand, Regina flies in to fetch Duke.
On a rooftop, Yuuta tells Deckerd that Gunmax will be joining the Los Angeles Police Department and Power Joe will be holding P.E. classes at Yuuta's school.
Back at the Decker Room, all eyes are on Deckerd, as he's the only one who hasn't decided yet. Despite much prodding, Deckerd decides to stay with the Brave Police.
It's a new beginning for the team... Dumpson visits Ayako's flat, and courts her in his new human-sized body, complete with suit and roses. Shadowmaru shoots his first movie, where he rescues a princess from a gang of ninja robots and makes his entrance atop a giant toad. Meanwhile, Power Joe skives work and disturbs Emily's class (as usual), prompting Miss Reiko to throw an eraser at him. Drill Boy, on the other hand, is doing well in the soccer team. Gunmax seems to be playing tag with some gangsters, and he busts their tires, while Duke Fire puts out fires back in England. Oddly enough, McCrane doesn't get any screen time.
Then there was Deckerd, all by his lonesome in the office. Yuuta, Suzumi, and Azuki arrive and try to convince him to do something else. Deckerd walks out on them and dashes out to the streets, almost running over a passenger vehicle. From an alley, Deckerd watches Dumpson droppring off Ayako for her appointment. Deckerd backs up and drives back to his garage.
To his surprise, the neighbors were there bringing out his things. They tell him Yuuta's kicking him out of the house for Deckerd's own sake. Deckerd runs out on them too and heads back to the office. The team was there, inviting him to have a warm sip of oil. They soon vanish, and Mr. Saejima calls him from behind.
Mr. Saejima: Deckerd Deckerd: Commissioner... I don't know why... Why am I so stubborn? Why do I insist on staying? I'm painfully aware of how Yuuta feels. I finally understood what the guys were saying... But I couldn't do it. I couldn't let go of the Brave Police. Sir, laugh at me, tell me I'm a loser... There's no other place for me--- Deckerd finds himself talking alone.
The following day, Deckerd salutes to Yuuta's empty desk and reports for his patrol. He chances upon a bank robbery in action. Two robot police shoot and free the hostage and the robber surrenders.
Deckerd: Who are you? A.I. Police 1: And who are you? This is our area of jurisdiction. Deckerd: I am part of the Brave Police. A.I. Police 1: Brave Police? I heard they were already disbanded. A.I. Police 2: Oh yeah, I heard that one insisted on staying. A.I. Police 1: Yeah. A.I. Police 2: Oh well, good luck. *laugh* Rain falls out of nowhere... Deckerd drives on till he's out of gas, crawls into a warehouse, and decides to sit it out. He imagines Yuuta sliding through the air vent, and as he reaches out towards him, he begins to shut off. Then Shadowmaru appears. Shadowmaru: At last, I've found you. Deckerd: Shadowmaru... Shadowmaru: Isn't this a bit too sad...? Shadowmaru carries Deckerd back, then McCrane lends him a hand too. Gunmax and Drill Boy arrive. Power Joe and Dumpson were standing in front of the office. Duke opens the gate, noting that it isn't rusty yet. Yuuta, Seia, Ayako, Regina and Mr. Saejima arrive. Yuuta: Guys! Why did you come back? Ayako: I thought you found something to do. Regina: Why would you want the Brave Police back? Mr. Saejima: You are free now. You are free to do as you please. Dumpson: That's why we're back. Shadowmaru: We tried. McCrane: The background suddenly turns into a blue haze, and Yuuta and company float in the air. Yuuta tells Deckerd it's just a dream.
The scene shifts back to Deckerd lying unconscious on the worktable. After Mr. Saejima and Mr. Toudou explain what happened, Deckerd learns that he was asleep for just half day, and not half a year. Deckerd joins the rest in the Decker Room, and they assure him everything is all right. Yuuta jokingly makes a wild guess about Deckerd's dream, that they got disbanded. The rest laugh along, little did Yuuta know that he was right on the spot.
